Barbara and Ken have joined their 30 years of experience to create a balanced Real Estate team with an extensive background in Marketing and Promotion. Each has received the Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist designation and is recognized as a member of the prestigious Million Dollar Guild.
Barbara is an Accredited Buyer Relocation Specialist and a
Life Member of the Million Dollar Club. She is also a
recipient of the coveted Phoenix award, given only to those
members of the Atlanta Board of Realtors who have exceeded $2 Million
in annual sales for at least 10 years.
As a team, they have consistently ranked in the top 6-10% of Jenny Pruitt
& Associates for the past 8 years.
The Team's expertise ranges from the "first time" homebuyer to elegant
mansions. They work "Only By Referral" which allows them to dedicate a
majority of their time fulfilling client needs, exceeding their expectations, and
delivering the exceptional level of service their clients deserve.
Education
Barbara has a Business Degree from Southern Illinois University and has worked for two
Fortune 500 companies in her business career. The most recent was a 20 year career with The Coca-Cola Company. She was the National Accounts manager for a major fast food chain and
previous to that acted as the Director of Sports Marketing, National and Local Promotions Manager, Local
Advertising Manager, and Director of Marketing for one of the major Coca-Cola Bottlers.
Professional Affiliations
In 2005, Barbara was awarded the “Captain of Industry” award by the Atlanta Board of Realtors for
10 years of dedicated service to the Board. Barbara and Ken were among eight who were awarded the “Five Star Circle of Service Award” by the Atlanta Board of Realtors in 2004.
Community Involvement
Barbara and Ken are also very civic minded. In 2006, they were rewarded with the coveted title of "Humanitarians of the Year" by Jenny Pruitt & Associates. During Hurricane Katrina, they were instrumental in motivating and arranging over 100 volunteers to provide assistance to WSB-TV for a telethon to support the relief effort. As a result, they are now leaders at the Atlanta Metro Chapter of the American Red Cross as chairpersons and founders of the new Red Cross Goodwill Ambassadors. Barbara serves in
many capacities at their church as a member of the choir, bell choir,and wedding guild.
Background, Family And Hobbies
Barbara has lived in the metro Atlanta area for almost 25 years. The professional knowledge of this great city can be invaluable to a client. Knowledge of the market is critical for a newcomer, but certainly important for a native Atlantan. Although Barbara and Ken love Atlanta, they also enjoy travelling abroad. Their greatest love is to entertain their friends and clients and share their culinary talents in the kitchen. Ken is the father and Barbara the stepmother of 3 boys and the grandparents of 4 girls.
