Brock Built Homes and WSB-TV host Project Kick Off forGoing Green - The Green House to benefit Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta
WHAT: Atlantas largest intown homebuilder,Brock Built announces Going Green - The Green House to benefit Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta. This environmentally responsible demonstration home will showcase sustainable design features attainable by the typical Atlanta family. Beverages and light refreshments will be served.

WHO: Brock Built, its vendors and suppliers will donate their time and services to build an Earth friendly home, which will be built to Earth Craft standards and constructed of innovative Green building materials. When complete, the house will be auctioned and proceeds will benefit Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta.
WHEN: Wednesday, May 7 at 10:30 a.m.

DIRECTIONS:From I-75/85, take the 10th street exit towards Georgia Tech University and make a left onto Howell Mill Road. Make right onto 8th street and go 2 blocks, merging with W. Marietta St. which will become Perry Boulevard. Proceed on Perry Boulevard and pass the MARTA Bus Maintenance Facility on the left and immediately make the next left on to Habershal Drive. Proceed past the new homes for sale and make the first left onto Craftsman Road.

BACKGROUND:
Going Green - The Green House will be built in West Highlands, one of Brock Builts award winning mixed use communities. Brock Built has partnered with WSB-TV and Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta on this project to bring it the broadest possible awareness. WSB-TV will follow the entire building process which will culminate in a one hour Prime Time Special in September telling the story of the innovate partnership and the remarkable transformation of the West Highlands Community.


The finished home will be auctioned to the highest bidder in October and proceeds will be donated to Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta. Going Green - The Green House is the next level of social consciousness that has always been an integral part of the Brock Built philosophy.
