Atlanta Roller Girls

The fifth double header of the season for the Atlanta Rollergirls is here! After annihilating the Sake Tuyas back in May, the Apocalypstix are out for more blood. And they're looking for it to be red and blue. The Denim Demons, having just come off their second win of the season, are riding high and aiming for the stars. The only thing standing in their way of going to the Championships is the Apocalystix – and the Demons aren't about to let these warriors stop them. But will they be able to rally another victory? The fight is on and both teams are in it to win!


DSDG All-stars vs. Huntsville Dixie Derby Girls

The second bout of the night is sure to be as exciting as ever. The lovely Dixie Derby Girls out of Huntsville, Alabama have accepted the invitation to play Atlanta's all-star team, the Dirty South Derby Girls. Our sisters to the "West" were the very first league to host our All-Star Team back in 2006, and these ladies truly know the meaning of Southern Hospitality. The Dixie Derby girls, though, are not coming to Atlanta just to show their sisterly love. They've got some booty to kick as well! Will they be able to defeat the mighty force of the Dirty South Derby Girls? You can bet yer sweet behind they're gonna try!

However, tickets for the second bout can be purchased at the venue on Saturday, starting at 4pm. Second bout begins at 7pm. DERBY RULES



Recently, the Women's Flat Track Derby Association, WFTDA, which oversees national rules and regulations, released an updated version of the official flat track rules called v3.0. Because of this new set of rules, you will see differences in gameplay and different calls being made this coming Saturday. So you Wanna be a rollergril? Then strap on your skates and get rollin'! The Atlanta Rollergirls will be recruiting FRESH MEAT in September and there are some not-to-miss events coming up to get you ready for tryouts! We're looking for experienced skaters with solid footwork, form, and speed. Recruitment is open to all interested ladies ages 21+

Interested in joining Atlanta's Junior Roller Derby League? Come out to a SKATE DATE with other young ladies and some of your favorite Atlanta Rollergirls! Junior Derby is open to young women ages 10-17.
Skate Dates are held every Sunday at All American Skating Center from 1-3 pm.

The BREWHOUSE CAFE (in Little Five Points) will be donating 10% of the entire day's proceeds to the Atlanta Rollergirls all-star team....the DIRTY SOUTH DERBY GIRLS!!

The fundraiser takes place ALL DAY so have lunch, dinner, or drinks at the Brewhouse on July 15th. Hang out with your favorite Derby gals and talk DERBY with ARG Allstars.

In addition, episodes of ARG's TV Show: The Derby South will be shown on the big screen at 7:30 pm!
